Sutton Baby Bonnet
The Sutton bonnet is a simple, timeless, unisex bonnet that comes in ages newborn - 9-12 months. It is knitted flat starting at the front edge. Decreases are worked towards the end of the work and a small seam is sewn to finish the main body of the bonnet. The bonnet is finished with an i-cord tie which is knitted onto the neckline edge of the bonnet.
A video tutorial is included to show you how to make the i-cord tie.
Sizes: Newborn (0-3 : 3-6 : 6-9 : 9-12) months
Gauge: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10cm measured over stockinette stitch on 4mm (US 6) needles
Needles: 4mm (US 6) needles and 3.5mm (US 4) needles. Note while you can main body of the bonnet can be worked on straight needles, you will need to 3.5mm circular or DPN needles to work the i-cord.
