Super quick, super fun, super cool party hat :)

This hat is worked from the bottom up. The brim is worked back and forth in cartridge rib and short rows are used to shape the earflaps. The hat is then joined and worked in the round and is finished with a pompom. If possible, measure the size of the hat recipient and use the schematic and measurements to choose a size.

Materials:
Yarn:
DK / Light Worsted Weight ~
90 (110, 135, 165, 200) yards.

Plus approx. 15-25 yards in contrasting colour for a pompom.

Needles:
US6 / 4mm circular needle (40 cm long) & US6 / 4mm dpns or long (80 cm +) circular needle for magic loop method.

Notions:
8 stitch markers, tapestry needle, pompom maker.

Sizing:
Baby (toddler/small child, older child, small adult, large adult).

15-16.5 (16.5-18, 18-20, 20-21.5, 21.5-23) inches /
