Sunrise, Sunset
This beauty uses approx 720 yards of self-striping wool yarn in a gorgeous rainbow colorway that really makes the lace stitches pop. Starting at the center with 8 sts on dpns, the shawl grows bit by bit, working in the round, until the final 520 stitches are bound off.
NOTES:
• this shawl is worked in the round, starting on dpns and progressing to longer and longer circs to keep tension even
• stitch markers are quite helpful in keeping the repeats in order; a different marker denoting beg of rnd is critical
• occasional life-lines and constant double-checking of stitches in each repeat will avoid having to visit the frog pond too often
The blocked size is approx 45-inch diameter.
Directions are charted and round-by-round.
