Sunflower Hat & Mittens
An easy introduction to colorwork, knitters work with just one color at a time, slipping the twisted design stitches for the resting color. These twisted stitches form the sunflower leaves, and one-color garter in the hat crown + mitten tops forms the center of the sunflower.
FINISHED MEASURMENTS
Hat: 17.25 (19.5, 21.25)” circumference and 7 (8.5, 8.75)” tall.
Mittens: 5.25 (7, 7)” circumference and 7.75 (9.75, 11.25)” tall. The cuff and lower hand are larger for size M/L; stretchy upper hand is the same circumference for both adult sizes.
