Inspired by vintage style, the Sunday Morning Cardigan features a sweet lace yoke and gently gathered sleeve cuffs. The classic and feminine design will look darling on any little girl. Knit seamlessly from the bottom up, the knitter will only need to graft the underarm stitches. The pattern includes a tutorial for the Kitchener stitch used to graft the underarm. The lace pattern is a simple, easy-to-memorize repeat with the yoke decreases worked in the garter stitch rows. This makes this sweater achievable for beginning sweater and lace knitters while still being a masterpiece once completed. Designed to be layered over a dress, the cardigan should be worn with two inches of ease.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
