Cotton sweaters for me are perfect summer wear,
especially a short-sleeved lace cardigan that can
be thrown on over a tee shirt or tank top or even a
summer dress for a bit of warmth in cool
buildings or cooler evenings. I like the one-button
closure because it allows for a nice drape. The
lace pattern provides ease.

Any fingering weight yarn will work with this pattern.
