Sugar Mountain is knit with the 2017 batch of The Happiest Yarn from a Wing and A Prayer Farm and Odacier’s Doc Mason’s Wool. This is a farm yarn that is produced in limited quantities- and each year it is produced it will look and feel a little different. This shawl was designed to make the most of a limited quantity of precious yarn- The shawl is worked from end to end, increasing to the halfway point then decreasing. It can be made with any weight or gauge yarn. Shawl shown is the largest size listed, please note that the smaller sizes are approximate and if substituting yarn your milage may vary. If you are trying to use every last inch of a yarn, weigh your yarn before you begin and divide the amount in 2 halves. Work the increases until nearly all of the first half of your yarn has been used up ending on the row 24 of the pattern chart. Then begin the decreases.
