Sugar Maple Wrap
errata: Row 41: K6, (yo, k2tog, k4) to last 2 sts, k2.
Oh, the softness, the light and slightly fluffiness, the nonbulky
warmth, and the colours….. I could go on about how
much I love this wrap forever! As a designer, I’m known
mostly for my sweaters, but this wrap has to be one of
my favourite things that I have ever designed and knit.
Right from the very beginning of its existence, I knew it
was going to be a thing of beauty. I was besotted with
the yarn and the gold colour, (called Brass, but it is
the most delicious golden colour to me), and I needed
to knit something that I could wrap myself up in and be
surrounded by its gorgeousness! An oversized lace mesh
borders the colourful stripes of different stitch patterns to
create a piece that can be worn as a wrap, stole of scarf.
This will be a wonderful piece to wear whilst traveling, as
it offers warmth and comfort, while taking up very little
space, and weighs almost nothing.
