Suddenly Sunshine
“Suddenly Sunshine” is a gorgeous 12” doily made in 2 rippled sections and timmed with a classy lace look! Perfect addition to your room!
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Sizes: 12 inches
Gauge: Rounds 1-6 = 3 inches
Materials Needed:
• US 2.25 crochet hook
• 150 yards of #10 Crochet Thread, Artiste in color Gold Dust
• Blocking pins and starch/stiffener
Stitches used:
Sp - space
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
Special Stitches:
Dc Cl: (double crochet cluster) Yo, insert hook in sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in same sp, yo, pull through sp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook, yo, pull through all 3 lps on hook.
Picot: ch3, slst in third ch from hook
Large Picot: ch4, slst in fourth ch from hook
Pattern Notes:
- Join with slst in 2nd ch of beg-ch unless otherwise stated.
- Ch2 at the beginning of a round counts as a dc throughout.
- Ch3 at the beginning of a round counts as a dc and a ch1.
- Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
- Work should be blocked to maintain the desired appearance.
