Warm, colourful and stylish, make these gloves and your hands will thank you.
Pattern Notes 
This pattern for a pair of stripy mitts worked both in rows and in the round. It is available as a written pattern and a tutorial style pattern.

Skill Level 
Intermediate/Tricky 
Basic stitches are used throughout however the construction requires some concentration.
Yarn 
170 yards of Sport or Light DK yarn in various colours.
I used Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino but a lot of the original colours I used are now discontinued, so here are the nearest colours from the latest range: 
Unfortunately a lot of the DB colours I used are now discontinued. I did find matches in her latest range that might be of interest to you though:
006 - Candy Pink 
018 - Citrus 
026 - Duck Egg 
034 - Red 
059 - Mallard 
066 - Amber 
071 - Royal 
204 - Baby Blue 
608 - Pale Lilac
The duck egg blue (026) was the colour I used for the edging and the other colours were used for all the stripes.
Hook 
3.5mm (USA E) hook - or whichever size you need to use to get the correct fit
Materials 
14 buttons approx 1cm (3/8”) diameter 
Yarn needle 
Needle and thread for sewing on buttons
Size 
Medium (but can be easy adjusted, directions given in the pattern)
