This pattern offers directions for both fingering and worsted-weight blankets.
Requirements for the fingering-weight version:
Yarn: 485 yards (437m) main color and 345 yards (310m) each contrast colors A and B.
Needles: size #3 (3.25mm) 24” (61 cm) circular needle and a size 4 (E) crochet hook.
Gauge: 28sts = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Requirements for worsted-weight version:
Yarn: 410 yards (369 m) main color and 290 yards (261m) each contrast colors A and B.
Needles: size #7 (4.25mm) 24” (61cm) circular needle and a size 6 (G) crochet hook.
Gauge: 20sts = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
