Yarn: 215 (245, 270, 305, 325, 410, 465) yards total of sport or dk weight yarn:
180 (205, 227, 255, 273, 344, 390) yards of main color
35 (40, 43, 50, 52, 66, 75) yards of stripe color
We used 2 balls of Rowan Felted Tweed in #177 and 1 ball of Schoppel Edition 3 in #2301 to make the 18 month size.
Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm 16” & 24–32” circulars
US 4 / 3.5 mm double pointed needles if not using magic loop method for sleeves
or equivalent types & lengths in size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: 5 stitch markers (one unique for beginning of round), two 24” pieces of scrap yarn, darning needle, scissors, and tape measure
Gauge: 5.75 stitches & 8.5 rows per inch in stockinette stitch after blocking
Sizes: 6 months (12 months, 18 months, 24 months, Child’s 2, Child’s 4, Child’s 6)
Measurements: 19.75 (20.75, 21.75, 23.25, 24.25, 26.5, 28.75)” around chest
13.5 (13.5, 13.5, 13.5, 13.5, 14.25, 14.5)” around neck
6.25 (6.5, 7.25, 8, 8.25, 8.75, 9)” around upper arm
