Striations Shawl

The definition of striations is a series of ridges; sets of parallel stripes. Using this definition as my inspiration, I designed this heart shaped shawl.

A main colour and a contrast colour provide a unique striated look.

Go bold with two highly contrasting colours or go subtle with two closely related variegated colours.

This shawl is knit flat.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit & kfb. Video tutorials for the garter tab cast-on & for the picot bind-off have been recorded by the designer.
