Steorra Cowl
The Steorra Cowl begins with an easy to memorize pattern of cable stitches. It starts as a traditional triangle shaped shawl worked flat until gaining enough stitches to easily join in the round. The rounds begin with an added color where a slipped stitch stripe transition section is followed by a fun color work section of stars.
The name Steorra comes from the old English word for Star. The pattern was designed to be knit on “Dalia” by dyer KnittenWord as a collaborative project for Local Yarn Store Day 2024 at Ewe & You Fiber Arts. The best thing about this item is that with two skeins of fingering weight yarn, you can make 2 cowls, one for yourself and one to share!
Happy Knitting, and Enjoy!!!
