Stella Square
This Stella Crochet Square is part of the Cassiopeia Crochet Throw that consists of 12 unique star, sun and moon designs, each design made twice to complete a 24 square throw. Stella - a feminine given name of Latin and Italian origin, meaning ‘star’.
Supplies/Materials:
Yarn - Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) - approx 50 - 75 yards (40 - 70 meters)
(colors listed below in Pattern Notes); Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light.
Hook - 3, 50 mm (E) - I used Clover
Scissors
Yarn needle
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH - chain
SL ST - slip stitch
SC - single crochet (UK - DC)
HDC - half double crochet (UK - HTR)
DC - double crochet (UK - TR)
TR - treble crochet (UK - DTR)
Gauge:
With yarn listed and 3, 50 mm (E) hook final square should measure 7 inches (18 cm).
However gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect but your squares need to be all the same size.
Finished Size:
Squares – 7 inch (18 cm)

Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
