Crochet pattern for an easy granny square with step photos, full written instructions and a chart.

YARN NEEDED (FOR A 5-ROUND GRANNY SQUARE)
Double Knitting (8ply/light worsted): approximately 10g per square.
Aran (10ply/worsted): approximately 15g per square.
Use either:
Oddments of 5 different colours (1 colour per round), or
A single colour (see page 9 for single-colour version).

Suggestions for use:
Blanket or afghan: Join multiple granny squares for a colourful and stunning blanket, to any size required.
Make a garland: Crochet multiple granny squares and string them together for an eye-catching bunting.
Tote bag panel: Join motifs to form the front and back panels of a bag, adding a sturdy fabric lining and handles.
