Starburst has the look of joined square motifs, without all the yarn tails to weave in! It is worked in one continuous piece from end to end, and the yarn provides the color changes!

Whether you hang it around your neck or loop it once or twice, this bold and bright scarf is a fun and fashionable accessory.

The written pattern uses basic crochet stitches in US terminology: chain, single, double, and triple crochet; and a large hook creates a softly draping fabric. As with any crocheted lace, blocking the finished project is recommended, to open the lace up, and straighten the sides of the scarf.

This pattern was designed for the 2019 East Tennessee Yarn Crawl, and will be offered as a free download for one week, to allow all Yarn Crawlers who received a printed copy to add the pattern to their Ravelry libraries. After the free week, the price will be $1.95
