The Starborn blanket has the shape of a star with 8 points and is crocheted in rounds. You can easily change the size of this blanket by adding or removing repetitions of the pattern before crocheting the border. To create the gradient color blocks I used one skein of the gradient yarn Scheepjes Whirl (60% cotton, 40% acrylic; 215 g/1000 m, color 768, Sherbert Rainbow), and one skein of the solid colored yarn Scheepjes Whirlette (60% cotton, 40% acrylic; 100 g/455 m, color 859, Rose). I think the outcome is radiant, and the many color combos you can make are endless!
