Stacked Stone Mitts
4 balls will make 6 gloves - the pattern features four different colours (three opposite each other in a triangle on the colour wheel plus a neutral for the fourth colour).
There is a competion running with this yarn and pattern at the moment, ending Sept 30, 2011. Send an image of your own creative colour combination using The House of Alpaca Yarns, with this pattern (you can alter the pattern if you like) to thegirls@artwearpublications.com.au by Sept 30, 2011. The winner will receive either the full range of The House of Alpaca yarns OR an alpaca throw - you get to decide which prize you would prefer if you are the winner.
The pattern contains instructions for 3 versions:
- knitting in the round with a thumb
- knitting in the round with a rolled top and hole for thumb
- knitting flat with a rolled top and hole for thumb
