St Pancras Socks
Inspired by the striking, geometric construction of the expansive roof at St Pancras International Rail Station in London, this mid-calf sock was especially written for Knit Nation 2011.
The sock is knit top-down with a cable-lace pattern that cuts across the bias of the foot and a slip stitch heel flap. Instructions are both written and charted. You can choose to knit two socks the same or left and right socks as mirror-images. This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter with some previous experience of sock knitting.
