CONSTRUCTION

YARN POT
Work flat square base, create a purl round to distinguish base from walls, work the walls, decrease one round to pull the top in slightly, work one purl round to consolidate ridge, cast-off stitches leaving a few stitches to continue working in rows to create a handle strap (optional), work handle strap, cast-off handle, loop back to join to inside ridge the beginning of handle section, fasten-off, sew-in ends.

Your Pot can be worked in stripes or 2 different yarn types/colours.

FELTING
Place plastic bag inside container and also tie a plastic bag around handle of yarn pot before placing in a washing machine. Wash with no washing power on a 60° wash cycle on a 700 spin cycle; pull into shape and leave to dry naturally.
