Inspired by the promise of spring when flower bulbs begin to poke up through the barren, wintry ground, this shawl is highlighted by a swath of lace between fields of simple garter. US 5 / 3.75 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needle. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
US 4 / 3.5 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needle. Or one size smaller than gauge needles.

Notions: Stitch marker(s), tapestry needle, blocking pins.

Gauge
26 sts & 36 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 5 / 3.75 mm in Garter St, after blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
