Ideal for using scraps or mini skeins, this can also be made in one colour. Make it as short or as long as you like. Then make it special by adding beads and charms when you deal with the yarn ends.

My scarf used 24 x 10g skeins from the 2022 Advent Calendar from Siobhan Crafts
https://www.siobhanscrafts.co.uk/. I had 23 yarn changes, each with two yarn ends, so I needed 46 beads and 46 charms. I used ceramic beads and metal charms to give the dangles weight. If making the scarf for a child I suggest using acrylic beads and charms. Note that dangles are not suitable for young children due to the chance of choking.
