Stranded colorwork mitts to remind you of the bright colors of Spring on those long dark days in winter.
Knit them in two solid or heathered colors like I did, or how about trying a fun speckled, variegated or gradient for the contrast?

Fingerless gloves are worked in the round from the cuff, with a thumb gusset. The thumb is then picked up and worked at the end.

On small projects like this gauge is very important as even a small deviation can make your finished mittens a rather different size!

1 skein each of two contrasting colors

36 st and 40 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern in the round
