Spring Coatigan
A free version is also available.
I am so excited to bring you Spring Coatigan!
What is a coatigan you ask? It is a crochet coat and cardigan hybrid! It has the warmth of a coat but the lightness of a crochet cardigan! It is the perfect transitional piece for the weather in between the seasons!
I have designed this crochet jacket as a size inclusive design in sizes XS-5XL using Craft Yarn Council standard body measurements with 10 cm positive ease.
The gauge has been measured over linked double crochet stitch.
I used Women’s Institute Aran Tweed yarn (aran/worsted weight; 600 m per 400 g ball; 97% Acrylic, 3% Viscose) x 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls in Marl
OR 980 (1070, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1750, 1850) g of substitute yarn and Sirdar Alpine (super chunky/fashion faux fur yarn; 33 m per 50 g ball; 100% polyester) x 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3) balls in Sable
The pattern is also free on my blog.
