This delicate garter stitch shawlette is embellished with two floral motifs, lined by an elegant, yet simple yarnover pattern.

The moderate crescent shape is achieved by working short rows, making the lace edge slightly longer than the plain edge.
This design can easily be modified to a larger shawl.

The red shawlette photographed was worked with a lace-weight yarn, using only one skein (360 m / 50 g (400 yds / 1¾ oz) of a luxurious
cashmere and silk blend. The teal shawlette was worked with a fingering weight single-ply yarn, using one skein (400 m / 100 g (440 yds / 3½ oz) of superwash merino and silk blend yarn.
