Spotted Giraffe Cowl
This is a beautiful pattern knit with two colours of yarn. There are no long floats and you only work with one colour at a time, similar to mosaic knitting. The colour not currently in use is carried up the back so you don’t have a lot of ends to weave in.

Spotted Giraffe.
While the Hexagon (also known as Honeycomb) pattern looks like complicated intarsia, it is actually as easy as knitting stripes! Only one color is used at a time, with the design achieved by slipping stitches from the previous round’s color. The slip stitches are slipped in pairs over 6 rows, but as they are the same two stitches and not elongated, they contract the fabric into hexagonal shapes. Two different-color yarns of similar ply are used in this sample.
