Yarn
- Laines du Nord Firenze - 75% wool, 20% baby alpaca, 5% Nylon Yardage 115 m (126 yards) per 50 g (1.75 oz) or other yarn of comparable yarn weight - 8 (9, 10, 10, 11, 11) skeins
Tools
- Circular knitting needles - 4 mm (US6) for neckline and sleeve cuff finishing 5.5 mm (US9) for the main part of the sweater
- Stitch markers
- Row counter
- Tapestry needle
- 2 spare needles for holding sleeve sts
- Cable needle
- Waste yarn for provisional cast-on
- Crochet hook 4 mm USG/6, UK8 for provisional cast-on
Gauge
17 sts and 25 rows in stockinette stitch in 10 х 10 cm (4 x 4 in) after wet blocking. Matching gauge is crucial for a well-fitting sweater.
Sizes
XS: 32”, S: 34”, M: 36”, L: 38”, XL: 40”, 2XL: 42” for a height of 168 сm (5’7”)
Construction - the garment is worked seamlessly from the top down with a circular yoke.
