By working this scarf in three sections with distinct patterns and then braiding them together, you can combine pattern, texture, and color for a fun, dizzying effect. Buttoning the scarf end to end makes for versatile styling.
Finished Size 40″ long and 10″ wide.
Yarn Schachenmayr Original Bravo Big Color (100% acrylic; 131 yd 120 m/7 oz 200 g): #0086 storm grey mix, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.
Needles Size 15 (10 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Stitch holders; tapestry needle; three 11/2″ buttons.
Gauge 8 sts and 8 rows = 4″ in Moss st.
