Sonar Shawl
The second in our Graduating Stripes Series, this semi-circular shawl is created with contrasting stripes reminiscent of sonar waves. Similar to Diffraction and Trilinear, but so very different.
Worked from the top down in stockinette and edged with attached I-Cord. Directions are written and stripe patterns are charted.
Perfect for solid, variegated and color changing yarns.
Directions included for Lace, Fingering & Aran weight.
Yarn:
- Lace - MC 500 yds, CC 400 yds
- Fingering - MC 450 yds, CC 220 yds
- Aran - MC 350 yds, CC 175 yds
10-24-2013 Pattern has been rewritten and revised. Increases have been changed to eliminate color “shifts” on color change rows.
Our friends at Stunning String Studio have put together a fingering weight yarn kit for this pattern that lets you choose your favorite color combination. You can find it here.
