Solari
Solari was first published in the book 52 Weeks of Shawls from Laine and I’m so happy to offer it now as an individual digital pattern.
Named for the Latin verb meaning “to console,” Solari is an invitation to the comforting rhythm of knit and purl stitches and the soothing repetition of slipped stitches.
The shawl is knitted from the top down. Offered in two sizes, it would be cozy and elegant styled with the shawl point in the front, “bandana style” with the ends tied together below.
