An ethereal shawl,suitable for the hot summer season, which often catches us unprepared with sudden downpours and refreshing; refined and elegant processing lace adorns the edge.
A shawl to do now and wear on vacation
The yarn used is the Original Denim Rowan distributed by Coats, a 100% cotton yarn which enhances the stitch used in shawl and maintains its structure.

SIZE
One size, height approximately 30 cm measuring from the centre,
width approximately 140 cm.

GAUGE
14 sts and 26 rows for a 10 cm square in lace stockinette stitch from
chart, after blocking;
16 sts and 30 rows for a 10 cm square in plain stockinette stitch
after blocking; tension is not essential to this project, but it would be
important to have a tension similar to this to obtain the final
measurements described above.
The final measurements can easily be modified by using lighter yarn
and smaller needles (for a smaller shawl) or heavier yarn and bigger
needles (for a bigger shawl).

MATERIALS
4 skeins (for a total of about 350 m) of Original Denim Rowan
(shown in light blue), 100% cotton (92 m /50 g);
4.5 mm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge);
bigger needles to cast on and bind off (optional)
stich markers
tapestry needle

Uno scialle etereo, adatto alla calda stagione estiva che, spesso, ci coglie impreparate con acquazzoni improvvisi e rinfrescanti abbinato ad una raffinatissima ed elegante lalavorazione lace che impreziosisce il bordo.

Il filato utilizzato per la realizzazione è l’Original Denim Rowan distribuito da Coats, un filato 100% cotone, ‘sostanzioso’ e corposo, che esalta il punto dello scialle e ne mantiene la struttura.

TAGLIA
Unica, approssimativamente 30 cm altezza misurata al centro,
larghezza 140 cm.

TENSIONE
14 m e 26 f sono uguali a 10 cm in maglia rasata a punto pizzo
seguendo la chart dopo il bloccaggio;
16 m e 30 f sono uguali a 10 cm a maglia rasata dopo il bloccaggio;
Ottenere una tensione uguale non è fondamentale, ma è importante
se desideri uno scialle delle dimensioni indicate.
Le dimensioni dello scialle possono essere facilmente modificando
utilizzando filato più sottile e ferri più piccoli (per ottenere uno scialle
di dimensioni minori), o filato più spesso con ferri di diametro
maggiori (per ottenere uno scialle più grande).
