Sofe-socks have a textured stitch pattern with a bit of lace. The heel turn is worked with short rows. Cuff down socks have normal heel flap with picking up stitches, toe up version doesn’t require picking up stitches.

The pattern has instructions for both CUFF DOWN and TOE UP socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.
