Dated ca.1980-1990. A girl’s sock in four sizes for ages 2-8, UK shoe sizes 6 (child size) to 6 (adult size). This is part of a set with hat and mittens.

A basically plain sock with contrast-coloured cuff, heel and toe, and duplicate-stitch mouse on the leg. A chart for the embroidery is provided. The pattern specifies two needles and the sewing up of seams, but it can be easily adapted for knitting in the round with 4 dpns or with circulars.
