A cat to cover your travel pillow and sit softly around your neck. Much more fun than the usual boring commercial ones – and more comfortable!
This knitted cover is made to fit U shaped travel pillows and is stretchy enough to fit a range of sizes. Custom design your cat – samples were made as a grey cat with white tips and a Siamese kitten, but it could be ginger, black, white, pink… (but not stripes).
Samples were made with soft merino fingering / 4ply together with a fine strand of brushed alpaca to give it a fluffy “halo”, but thinner versions of soft DK / 8ply could be used instead, and DK has been used for contrast nose and paws.
Body is in one piece, knit flat from widest curve decreasing to inner curve and increasing back again, with a buttoned opening at the back.
Head, paws and tail are added later.
