These textured socks are knitted top-down with one color of fingering weight sock yarn like West Wool HEX. The twisted rib cuff flows into a gather smock stitch for the leg and foot. The smocked stitches also continue into the Heel Flap. Instructions include photos and video tutorials to assist with the smock technique. Customize the size of the leg and foot by working more repeats for a long length or stop early for a shorter leg and foot length.

Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 7 (8.5, 10, 11.5, 13)″ / 18 (22, 25, 29)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1″ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot.
