“…a sweater for the foot…very light and cushy sock”
- Celeryknits, Sock Madness organizer

These top-down, heel flap, unisex socks are knit with 2 strands of laceweight. The gauge of 2 strands of laceweight equals a fingering weight gauge.

Pick 2 different colors of laceweight (400 yds EACH color) or 1 solid and 1 variegated because the colors are changed to create the stripes.

This pattern incorporates two slip stitch patterns and doesn’t introduce any new techniques, but I hope you’ll enjoy the blending and changing of colors as much as I did.

This pattern should work for men and women; the yarn you choose will decide the character of your socks.

This pattern offers 5 sizes, but with the predictable number sequences, you should be able to customize this pattern to your size.
