Slipperoonies
Don’t you hate it when you go to someone’s house for the evening and you take your shoes off, but your feet are cold and you secretly wish you had brought your comfy old slippers? Well now you can have warm feet without looking like you’re making yourself too much at home. These ‘slipperoonies’ (as my Dad would call them) are darling little ballet-type slippers, that can be worn over your socks for extra warmth. They are knitted from the toe up in one clever piece, and feature a simple band knitted around the foot opening. Optional straps tie at the back. These are a quick project – a great gift idea!
Size: Ladies
Length: knit foot as long as desired until it reaches approx 2cm before the end of your heel when tried on.
Example fits NZ size 7 and used 50g sock yarn.
