Slice
About the design…
SLICE sweater is worked back and forth in Garter stitch, beginning from the edge of the sleeve and worked to the middle of the body. A wedge on top of the sleeve and shoulder shapes the sweater. Left and right sides are worked separately and knitted together in the end. All seams are visible - a nice detail and you avoid mounting.
The ribbing is highlighted by a row of horizontal stitches.
** yarn**
You need Aran weight wool - 186 yd (170 m)/100 g, or a mix of 2 qualities so you get the right gauge. The Slice sweater is tested in different yarns, and here you have two suggestions:
Wild Wool from Erika Knight - 186 yd (170 m)/100 g. The green sweater is made in this yarn.
You will need:
700 / 700 / 800 / 800 g
BC Bio Shetland - 306 yd (280 m) /50 g + Kremke Alpaka Superfine - 400 yd (366 m) /100 g. The 2 yarns are held together. The grey sweater is made in this yarn.
