Sleepy Sheep
This sweet little lamb is having a quick rest after a long day gambolling in the sunshine. To make an extra fluffy cuddly toy, the body is knitted in a soft fleecy boucle yarn in knitted loops.
Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Sleepy Sheep is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).
RECOMMENDED YARNS
25g of a boucle yarn for the body
25g of an acrylic DK yarn for the head and legs
Double knitting/light worsted weight

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5)
NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Toy filling
Black embroidery thread/floss for the eyes
A tape measure or ruler
SIZES
One size only; approximately 9cm.
TECHNIQUES
For advanced beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knit, purl, knitting loops, increases and decreases, and seaming.
