Slate Run Mitts are a great introduction to mosaic colorwork, with just a hint of pattern at the cuff. The mitts are finished up with a fun, textured stripe pattern worked over the hand & garter stitch trims. The cozy wool sport weight yarn in straight from the sheep colors keep the mitts looking classic in a neutral palette, but don’t hesitate to swap in bright colors for an unexpected twist!

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round. The colorwork section uses mosaic color knitting to achieve colorwork effect with only one color worked per round.
