This simple but striking scarf is a bit like a puzzle with slanted pieces. It is a relatively simple combination of 3 sections:

Colored Stripes
Vertical Stripes
Horizontal Stripes

Each section is bordered/divided by a Garter Slant. After working the horizontal stripes section, the vertical stripes and colored stripes are repeated to the end with the colors reversed.

The Vertical Stripes section has both a chart and written instructions.
