It’s hard to believe that this slouchy hat is created entirely out of single crochets (plus the chain and slip stitch). The use of the extended single along with the light weight yarn gives this slouchy hat a nice airy fit, making it perfect for spring.

Gauge:
With smaller hook: 14 single crochet X 17 rows = 4 inches square.
With larger hook: 13 single crochet X 15 rows = 4 inches square.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
Toddler: circumference = 16 inches; depth = 8.5 inches.
Child: circumference = 18 inches; depth = 10 inches.
Teen: circumference = 20 inches; depth = 10.5 inches.
Adult: circumference = 22 inches; depth = 11 inches.
