Simple Tarot Bag
A very quick and simple drawstring bag for a deck of cards! Do you have decks lying around in their packaging and the box is starting to fall apart? This is a perfect pattern for anyone who likes to pay cards, or read tarot/oracle cards. The yarn I chose is velvety “Nap Time” by Lion Brand in a deep blue which feels fitting for tarot cards. The pattern begins with a single crochet body around a foundation chain and worked continuously in the round with stitch marker. Then there is a fancy edging detail and drawstring that you make to finish it off. It only takes a bit of scrap yarn about 100 yards.
Gauge is worked flat
Sizing: for larger cards, measure a chain that matches the length of the deck, make sure you have an even number, follow pattern as established.
