Silk Routes is all about directions, caravans of stitches leaning in different ways. Connecting the East to the West, the shawl set-up to the lacy edge. Spreading beauty and knowledge.
Silk Routes is a crescent-shaped shawl. It requires approximately 500 meters of lace or fingering weight yarn. Use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect.
Gray shawl used 2 skeins BC Garn Jaipur silk 100% silk; 328yd/300m per 50g on 3.5mm (US 4) needles. Blocked size is 58 x 145 cm (23 x 57 inches). Gauge is 17 stitches per 10 cm in stockinette.
