Silent Strings
This pattern was originally published as Weird Sisters’ contribution to the 2025 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 6-9, 2025 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is also available for download as part of the 2025 Pattern Collection: Our Sky Full of Stars
The Lyra constellation sits in the sky as an homage to Orpheus’ lute. The chains of Silent Strings are strung across the lacy shawlette like the strings of that ancient, long-silent instrument. Constructed with a vintage stitch from Nihon Vogue, the shawlette is featherlight, but cozy enough for a summer’s night of stargazing.
