Shinryoku Mystery KAL
Advanced beginner to intermediate: Basic knitting skills required: knit, purl, yo, ssk, simple cabling.
You’ll need two skeins each of five colors of Shinryoku yarn (10 total). You can also use more or fewer colors.
The finished project is a throw/ blanket comprised of ten different patterned squares, each ranging from approx. 7” x 7” to 8” x 8”. Knitters can make the blanket as small or large as you wish depending upon how many of each square you knit up.
You should be able to get 3-4 squares per skein.
Each week during the KAL a new pattern (or two) will be published on our blog http://knittingfever.com/blog
(After the KAL ends we’ll create a PDF will all the patterns.)
You can use the KAL image for a place holder for your project. :-)
Note about gauge and square size: The squares will range between 7” and 8” after blocking. We haven’t listed a gauge, because it’s not very important for this project (since it’s a blanket, not a sweater, and doesn’t have to fit).
Aim for a gauge that gives you a pleasant fabric.
