Shifter
Shifter is a fitted sweater with an eye catching asymmetric ribbing pattern and 3/4 sleeves.
It is worked seamlessly from the top down. The lower back is shaped with short rows.
The sweater is supposed to fit with a few inches of negative ease at the bust.
The mock turtleneck can either be closed with a zipper, or casually be worn open. Don‘t fear to sew in the zipper by hand – it‘s actually quite easy! There’s a link list to tutorials on the more complicated skills you’ll need in the PDF.
The pattern does require you to be able to keep track of a few things at a time, so be prepared for that!
Additional info on sizes
Bust circumferences of the available sizes are:
XS=27”, S=31”, M=35”, L1/L2=39”, XL1/XL2=43”, XXL1/XXL2=47”
Choose the size that gives you 1-3 inches of negative ease. Since the fabric is very stretchy, no ease or 1 inch of positive ease might work out too. More info on wearing Shifter with positive ease can be found here.
Sizes that are subdivided into 1 and 2 have the same body measurements but differ in the sleeve widths. More info can be found in the pattern.
