Shellish
by Jana Pihota
Here’s the perfect way to use all those sock yarn/fingering-weight bits and pieces you’ve collected to knit an elegant wrap. It is knit n a classic shell/ripple pattern with a “corrugated” edging and random color changes. An advanced beginner to experienced knitter will find this pattern do-able. It includes yarn overs, p2tog and slipped stitches.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial to use the Russian Join to seamlessly attach all your sock yarn scraps into a big ball. The total yardage will depend on how long you knit your wrap. The model shown is 18” x 76”, but you can make it as long as you like. If you’re running a little low on sock yarn scraps or want to add some diversity to your stash, check out Yarn Nuggets.
