Sheep on the Hillside Pillow
This pattern was voted Pattern of the Month for March by LoveKnitting.
I have called this pattern “Sheep on the Hillside”. It features my fluffy sheep and also some fun daisy buttons so the sheep look as if they are grazing in a daisy meadow on a sunny day.
Materials
Stylecraft Special Double Knit (100 gram balls)
1 ball Greengage
1 ball Pistachio
1 ball Violet
1 ball Parma Violet
1 ball Cloud Blue
1 ball Black
1 ball Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Chunky yarn in Milky (White) for Sheep and Clouds
4 buttons for back of cushion
Optional – Daisy buttons available from www.etsy.com - search for “daisy buttons” to choose the nearest stockist.
The cushion is knitted in one piece. The back has a button opening and is knitted in stripes of 5 rows per colour.
Rating: Intermediate
If you already have DK yarns (8 ply) in similar colours they could be used as long as they match the tension gauge above
